Trillium Construction is seeking a Lead Technician for a project in New Albany, OH.
Key Responsibilities- Lead fiber installation, splicing, and testing activities on-site
- Perform advanced fiber testing and analysis (OTDR trace interpretation, loss budgets)
- Oversee fusion splicing for backbone, OSP, and ISP fiber networks
- Ensure fiber routes, splices, and terminations meet design and performance requirements
- Provide technical guidance and training to installers and technicians
- Review and approve fiber test results and documentation
- Coordinate daily work activities and sequencing with project management
- Identify and resolve technical issues impacting schedule or quality
- Enforce installation standards, safety practices, and best methods
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for fiber-related issues
Pay: $36
Per Diem: $110 / day for all 7 days
Schedule:
Mon - Sat, 60h / week

Preferred Qualifications- OSHA 10/30 certification
- FOA CFOT + CFOS/T (Testing) or CFOS/S (Splicing)
- ETA FOT-OSP or FOT-ISP
- BICSI Technician (TECH) or BICSI Installer 2 (INST2)
- Fusion Splicing Certification (manufacturer or FOA/ETA)
- Advanced Fiber Testing Credentials (OTDR trace analysis)
- NICET Level II–III (ITS or Low Voltage)
- Fluke Advanced Fiber Certification
