Job Title: Lead Fiber Splicer (OSP)
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description: Splicing fiber cables in a Data Center Environment. This will include:
Emergency fiber splicing experience, Ribbon Splicing, Loose Tube splicing, Ribbonizing fiber. Able to test using an EXFO OTDR. Testing will include: OLTS, Bi-Directional OTDR, 0 defect scoping and cleaning of fiber connectors, FEC testing, and Fiber Characterization testing. This will be a union position, so will receive union benefits
Required PPE: Yes
Required Tools: Basic Industry Hand tools.
