Lead Technician

Ready to be a Lead? We are seeking an experienced Technician to support large-scale datacenter telecom projects in the Columbus, OH area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong low voltage/fiber background who can both lead a team and stay hands‑on in the field.

• Lead and supervise crews on structured cabling and fiber installation projects
• Coordinate daily project activities and ensure work meets quality and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve telecom/fiber-related issues
• Pull, terminate, and test fiber and Cat6 cabling
• Serve as the main on‑site point of contact for customers
• Track materials, manpower, and project progress
• Complete documentation (timesheets, work orders, reports, etc.) accurately
• Interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce compliance standards
• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with project execution

• Hands‑on experience with fiber installation, termination, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Cat6, fiber, and cable systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Outdoor and on‑site work (OSP projects)

• Long‑term stability on a multi‑year datacenter project

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00/hr.
