We are seeking motivated and dependable Cable Technicians to support a large-scale data center project in New Albany, Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have experience with cable installation and pigtail pulling and are looking to grow their careers within the telecommunications and data center industry.
This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced construction environment where technicians will assist with critical infrastructure installations supporting one of the country's largest data center developments. Candidates should be safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a team while maintaining high-quality installation standards.

Position Summary
The Cable Technician will support telecommunications infrastructure installations within an active data center construction environment. The primary focus of this project is pulling pigtails and assisting with structured cabling installations throughout the facility.
Technicians will work alongside project teams to complete installations safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Candidates must be comfortable working in construction conditions, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working around active job site operations.
Key Responsibilities Structured Cabling
+ Pull and install pigtails throughout the data center
+ Route, secure, and organize telecommunications cabling
+ Assist with structured cabling installations
+ Support cable management and cable pathway systems
+ Maintain proper cable routing and quality workmanship
+ Verify completed installations meet project standards
Project Support
+ Assist project leads and technicians with installation activities
+ Handle and organize materials on site
+ Support daily construction and telecommunications operations
+ Maintain clean and safe work areas
+ Complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
Documentation & Administration
+ Accurately complete timesheets and project paperwork
+ Complete work orders, material transfers, and change orders as required
+ Maintain accurate records of completed work
+ Follow project reporting requirements
Safety & Compliance
+ Follow all site-specific safety requirements
+ Participate in safety meetings and training programs
+ Adhere to customer, company, and industry standards
+ Maintain a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety
+ Properly utilize tools and equipment
Required Qualifications Must-Have Experience
+ Experience pulling pigtails
+ Cable technician or cable installation experience
+ Experience working with structured cabling systems
+ Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure
+ Experience working in construction environments
Preferred Experience
+ ISP (Internet Service Provider) experience
+ Data center experience
+ Cat5 cable installations
+ Cat6 cable installations
+ Cable pulling and routing
+ Commercial low-voltage installations
+ Telecommunications construction projects
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
+ Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
+ Move materials weighing up to 75 pounds when needed
+ Work on ladders and elevated work surfaces
+ Work in confined spaces
+ Stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and walk throughout the day
+ Distinguish wire and cable color codes
+ Read detailed labels, prints, and installation documentation
+ Hear and recognize audible signals and communication devices
Regular attendance and reliability are required.
Schedule Standard Schedule
Five 10-Hour Shifts per Week (First Shift)
This project is currently operating on a first-shift schedule consisting of five 10-hour workdays each week.
