A Day in the Role:

- Pull, dress, and label cabling according to industry standards.

- Assist with cable routing, organization, and identification throughout data center environments.

- Support RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations under the guidance of technicians.

- Learn and perform basic punch-down terminations for telecommunications infrastructure.

- Assist with cable testing using industry tools such as Fluke and EXFO testing equipment.

- Gain exposure to fiber optic cable handling, routing, and basic installation techniques.

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

- Work closely with project teams, supervisors, and technicians to complete installation projects on schedule.

- Lift materials, move equipment, and perform physical labor in active construction and data center environments.

- Demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, and a positive attitude every day on the job.

Requirements:

- Previous labor experience required (construction, warehouse, installation, manufacturing, or similar environment).

- Strong attendance record and reliable transportation.

- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and take direction.

- Ability to work Monday-Saturday, 10-hour shifts (non-negotiable).

- Must be flexible to work both 1st and 2nd shifts as needed.

- Comfortable working in construction and data center environments.

- High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Environment:

- Combination of data center and active construction environments.

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and climbing.

- Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary.

- Regular use of hand tools and installation equipment.

- Opportunity for occasional travel to nearby Columbus-area project sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
