Maintenance Conveyor Technician

Abercrombie & Fitch is seeking a Maintenance Conveyor Technician to support high-volume retail distribution operations. In this role, you will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor and sortation systems that keep product flowing to stores and e commerce customers. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment downtime, replacing mechanical and electrical components, and partnering with operations to minimize disruptions. You will use diagnostics tools, PLC interfaces, and CMMS to document work.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with occasional off-shift or weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain conveyor and sortation systems in distribution facilities
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues to minimize downtime
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Replace belts, rollers, motors, sensors, and other system components
• Use diagnostic tools and basic PLC interfaces to identify faults
• Document work orders and parts usage in a CMMS system
• Collaborate with operations to prioritize repairs and system improvements
• Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, organized work area
