Data Center Technician

Looking to start a career in tech and data centers?

We’re hiring Entry‑Level Cable Technicians and experienced technicians to support the buildout of large‑scale data center infrastructure. No prior data center experience is required. Candidates with experience in construction, warehouse operations, general labor, or other hands‑on environments are encouraged to apply.

• Pull, route, label, and organize Cat5e and Cat6 cabling
• Assist with structured cabling installations and infrastructure builds
• Learn cable termination and punch‑down techniques
• Support basic cable testing using industry‑standard tools
• Assist with fiber optic cable handling and cable management
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors
• Perform installation work in construction and office environments
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively

• Experience in a hands‑on environment such as:

• Construction

• Warehouse

• Manufacturing

• General Labor

• Mechanical/Installation Work

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• Ability to learn technical skills and take direction

• Comfortable using hand tools

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to climb ladders and work in various job site environments

• Availability to work overtime as needed

• Monday through Saturday
• 10-hour shifts
• Must be flexible to work either 1st or 2nd shift
• Overtime regularly available

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
