Taylor'd Trades is seeking experienced Ironworkers for commercial and industrial construction projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience erecting, connecting, and installing structural steel while maintaining a strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship. Job
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Erect, install, and connect structural steel, beams, columns, and related components.
- Bolt, weld, and secure structural steel according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans.
- Perform structural steel connections and basic rigging operations.
- Signal and communicate with crane operators during steel erection.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torches, grinders, and other iron working equipment.
- Install metal decking, stairs, handrails, joists, and miscellaneous structural components as required.
- Work safely from heights using ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and fall-protection systems.
- Inspect connections and completed work to ensure proper alignment and installation.
- Follow all OSHA requirements, site-specific safety procedures, and Taylor'd Trades safety policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional iron working and construction duties as assigned.
