PL​/SQL Developer

Job Description

• Design, develop, and test complex database programs in PL/SQL.

• Inspect, analyze, and document current functionality in packages, functions, and

procedures.

• Ensure database programs are written correctly and comply with current development

standards.

• Performance tune SQL statements and application programs.

• Provide technical assistance, problem resolution, and troubleshooting support.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Support Oracle Cloud Database and Oracle Retail product suite environments where

applicable.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies as part of the Scrum Team.

• 3–5 years of experience in an application development environment.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis,

design, unit testing, system testing, deployment, and production support.

• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or equivalent database development

tools.

• Oracle Retail experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Forms preferred.
• Basic Git Lab and SVN knowledge.
• Introductory knowledge of Agile methodology and Jira.
• Excellent listening, verbal, written communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a

team environment.
