New Albany Country Club is now accepting applications for Golf Academy Attendants for the 2026 golf season
. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy golf, working outdoors, and delivering exceptional service in a premier club environment.
Golf Academy Attendants support the daily operations of the Golf Academy by providing outstanding service to members and guests while maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming practice facility.
Compensation & Perks$12.00 per hour + tips (paid biweekly)
Free employee meals while on duty
Staff uniform provided
Golf play and practice privileges
Ensure all members sign in upon arrival
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the Golf Academy (interior and exterior)
Stock indoor hitting bays and outdoor tee deck with golf balls throughout the day
Pick chipping greens and rake practice bunkers
Provide members with water and towels during practice sessions
Clean members’ golf clubs
Complete daily closing duties, including:
Sweeping and mopping the academy floors
Vacuuming the hitting mats and teaching bays
Restocking golf balls for the next day
Breaking down the outdoor hitting area
Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license
General knowledge of the game and rules of golf
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Availability to work at least two shifts per week, shifts available are 8 am to8:00 pm
Weekend and holiday availability may be required during peak season
Khaki slacks or skirts with a black belt
Club-issued golf shirt (club-issued hat optional)
Black or white athletic shoes
No visible logos other than the NACC logo
Rain and winter gear provided
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cooler temperatures
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach frequently
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50
pounds (including golf balls, equipment, and supplies)Ability to perform repetitive motions such as raking bunkers, picking ranges, and cleaning equipment
Ability to safely operate golf carts and related academy equipment
