Housekeeper - Harbor Inn; Independent Living

Job Title

Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain Presbyterian Villages
- Harbor Inn resident apartments and ranch homes and common areas.

Clean and maintain all common areas including, but not limited to, area lobby, vestibule, hallways, lounges, reception areas, restrooms, storage and supply areas, floors, offices, and elevators. Clean and maintain resident apartments and ranch units as assigned and/or as vacated so that health standards are met.

Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.

Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.

Wash windows, blinds, walls, ceilings, woodwork, etc. as necessary.

Replenish bathroom items. Wash and disinfect using approved cleaning solutions.

Wash and disinfect bathroom and kitchen fixtures/appliances, rails, and push buttons using approved cleaning solutions.

Sweep and mop floors.

Clean rugs and carpets using spot treatments.

Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.

Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides.

Maintain adequate levels/quantities of supplies by reporting accurate inventory to manager/lead for replenishment.

Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to keep informed on current information and skill development.

Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to:

• Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures.
• Safety policies and procedures.
• Federal, state and local regulations.

All other duties as assigned

High School Graduate, General Education Degree (GED) or currently enrolled in program if under 18.
