Lathe CNC Programming Specialist
Join our team as a Lathe CNC Programming Specialist in New Baltimore, MI.
Key Responsibilities:- Create programs using Mastercam software
- Operate CNC lathe machines with live tooling and set up for machining parts
- Ensure all machined parts meet customer specifications
- Verify machine settings and part measurements
- Inspect and measure machined parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications
- Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances
- Document production and quality actions
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow company processes, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Perform other assigned duties
Minimum of 10 years of experience in CNC lathe programming, set-up, and operation
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming
- Use of measuring instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Understanding of CNC programming for part verification
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
