Job Description
What You’ll Do
Welding Operations
- Perform precision TIG and MIG welding on aerospace components using approved procedures and work instructions.
- Weld a variety of aerospace materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and other specialty alloys.
- Produce high-quality welds that meet dimensional, visual, structural, and customer requirements.
- Set up and operate welding equipment while maintaining proper welding techniques and practices.
Blueprints & Specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, specifications, and work instructions.
- Follow qualified Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and established process requirements.
- Ensure completed work meets aerospace standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements.
Quality & Inspection
- Perform detailed self-inspection of completed welds and components.
- Identify and communicate quality concerns, defects, or discrepancies.
- Complete rework and corrections as needed to meet established requirements.
- Work with the Quality team during in-process and final inspections.
** Must have 3 years of welding experience***
