Position: GROUPS DIRECTOR

Groups Director

Woodside Bible Church is seeking a relational and spiritually mature Groups Director to lead the Groups Ministry at our Chesterfield Campus. This role provides vision, leadership, and support for small groups, helping people experience authentic biblical community where they grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Working alongside the Associate Director, campus staff, and Central Groups Ministry, the Groups Director recruits, equips, and develops volunteer leaders while cultivating healthy, multiplying Groups that support Woodside's mission to help people Belong to Christ, Grow in Christ, and Reach the World for Christ.

This is a part-time (20 hours per week), hourly, non-exempt position. Membership and active participation at Woodside Bible Church's Chesterfield Campus are required.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and oversee the campus Groups Ministry in alignment with Woodside's Groups Ministry strategy.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and encourage Group Leaders and other volunteers.
  • Launch new Groups while supporting and strengthening existing Groups.
  • Build relationships with Group Leaders, providing ongoing encouragement, care, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with campus leadership and Central Groups Ministry to foster healthy group multiplication and discipleship.
  • Support campus initiatives and participate in staff meetings and leadership development opportunities.

  • A growing follower of Jesus with a passion for discipleship and biblical community.
  • Experience leading small groups, discipleship, or adult ministry.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams.
  • Strong relational, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative leader who is aligned with the mission, values, and Statement of Faith of Woodside Bible Church.
