About Us:

Harbor Oaks Hospital, New Baltimore's leading Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Center is seeking passionate Registered Nurses (RN) to work at our facility in New Baltimore, MI.

Shift availability:

Full-time/Night Shift; 7:00pm - 7:30am (3-12 hour shifts with every other weekend rotation)

Full-time/Day Shift; 7:00am - 7:30pm (3-12 hour shifts with every other weekend rotation)

What You'll Do:

* Assess patients' behavioral and physical health needs and deliver compassionate, trauma‑informed nursing care.

* Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing treatment plans throughout the continuum of care.

* Safely administer medications, including behavioral health and detox protocols, with accurate documentation and controlled substance tracking.

* Monitor patient status on an ongoing basis and communicate significant behavioral or medical changes to providers and the care team.

* Educate patients and families, maintain compliant medical records, and adhere to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

* Establish therapeutic, professional relationships while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient recovery.

What You Bring:

* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.

* At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.

* Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).

* First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.

* Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
