Accounts Receivable Clerk

Accounts Receivable Clerk - New Bedford, MA

Our client, a growing organization within the industrial/manufacturing sector, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support daily accounting operations. This role focuses on processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting collections efforts in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

• Prepare and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Record incoming payments and ensure proper application to customer accounts
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with follow‑up on open items
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed
• Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and payment status
• Provide general support to the accounting team on routine tasks

• 2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage or similar; non-Quick Books systems preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
