Role OverviewWe are seeking a mathematically‑driven Client Service Analyst II to join our DB Large Market team. This is not a typical administrative role; it is a technical position requiring a high aptitude for complex pension calculations and the ability to navigate intricate financial data. The ideal candidate is a problem‑solver who enjoys variety; moving from internal calculations to client interactions and special projects.
Responsibilities- Respond to plan inquiries and requests from clients promptly and professionally
- Assist in calculating and processing timely payment of termination, retirement, and death benefits for simple plans
- Support the consulting team in fostering strong relationships with clients
- Help coordinate information flow between clients and trustees
- Assist in reconciling plan assets and plan memberships
- Support the preparation of year‑end annual pension statements
- Assist in preparing membership and asset data for actuarial valuations
- Apply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions and legislative requirements
- Work with pension databases to ensure data accuracy
- Attend internal training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and topics
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to add value
- Assist with special projects as required to support team goals
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Mathematics or Actuarial Science
- Proven ability to perform complex calculations in real‑time.
- A self‑starter with a positive outlook and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible enough to float between different client projects as needed.
- 1–3+ years of professional experience.
