• Provide guidance,leadership,mentorship,anddirectsupervisionofsitestaffincludingassistantsuperintendents,foremen,electricians,technicians,laborers,andotherconstructionpersonnelinvolvedinsubstationconstructionandmaintenanceactivities.
• Manageprojectscheduleincludingpreparationofweeklytwo-weeklookaheadschedulesandcoordinationofconstructionactivitiestomaintainprojectmilestones.
• Proactivelyscheduleandcoordinatesubcontractors,vendors,andinternalcrewstoensurecompletionofsubstationprojectsinaccordancewithprojectscheduleandcontractrequirements.
• Developacomprehensiveunderstandingofprojectstrategyandcommitmentsincludingfinancialgoals,scheduling,logistics,phasing,switching requirements,commissioning milestones,and inspections.
• Overseeconstructionandinstallationofhigh-voltagesubstationequipmentincludingtransformers,circuit breakers,disconnect switches,bus systems,grounding systems,relay panels,protection systems,andcontrolwiring.
• Coordinatewithutilityrepresentatives,engineering teams,andsystemoperationstosupportplannedoutages,switching procedures,andenergizationactivities.
• Ensureassignedjobsiteoperationscomplywithutilitystandardsengineeringspecifications,electrical codes,andprojectqualityrequirements.
• Managelaborforceproductivityandensureproperutilizationofcraftlabor,subcontractors,andspecialtyelectricalcrews.
• Coordinateequipmentandmaterialdeliveriesincludingtransformers,breakers,steel structures,conduit systems,relay panels,andprotectionequipment.
• Demonstrateandmaintaineffectivecommunicationwiththeprojectteamregardingchangesinwork,job conditions,subcontractor relations,switching schedules,anddeviationsinprojectscope.
• Workinpartnershipwithprojectmanagementtomaintainanaccurateandupdatedprojectschedulethatreflectsfieldconditionsandsupportscostandscheduletargets.
• Runweeklycoordinationmeetingsincludingprojectmeetings,subcontractor meetings,andsafetybriefings.
• InitiateandmanagetheRFIprocess,identifyingfieldconflictsandproposingsolutionsrelatedtodesign,constructability,oroperationalrequirements.
• Supportsubstationtesting,commissioning,andenergizationactivitiesincoordinationwithengineering,protection&control steams,andutilityoperators.
• Exceedclientexpectationsbyunderstandingutilityclientneeds,systemreliabilitypriorities,andprojectdeliverystandards.
• Promotestrongsubcontractorrelationshipsthroughprofessionalandfairleadershipacrossallprojectparticipants.
• Maintainandreviewpunchlistprocessestoensurecompletionofsubstationequipmentinstallation,testing,andcommissioningitems.
• Manageprojectclose-outincludingdocumentation,as-built drawings,commissioning records,andwarrantysupport.

• 5–10years’experienceinelectricalinfrastructureconstruction,withsignificantexperienceinhigh-voltagesubstationconstructionorutilitytransmissionprojects.
• Bachelor’sdegreeinelectricalengineering,Construction Management,Engineering Technology,orrelatedfield,orcommensurateexperiencepreferred.
• Experienceworkingwithelectricutilities
• Strongknowledgeofhigh-voltagesubstationsystems(69kV–345kV) including protection&controls,grounding,andcommissioningprocesses.
• Excellentcommunicationabilitiesincludingwriting,speaking,andactivelistening.
