Job Description

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, managing the front desk operations efficiently within a small team environment. This role involves coordinating appointments, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer support with a professional and friendly demeanor. Flexible schedule, looking for part time or full time. People available to open at 7:30AM will be hired first.

• Manage front desk operations and maintain a welcoming environment
• Handle incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous manner
• Schedule and coordinate appointments accurately
• Maintain accurate records and data entry
• Provide prompt and effective customer support
• Moving dogs from place to place
• Looking dogs over for quality control
• Communicating pet information to the team
• Communicating with customer about pets visit

• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Proficient in scheduling and calendar management
• Clear and effective communication abilities
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Accurate data entry skills
• Problem-solving capabilities
• Friendly and able to work well with others
• Knowledge of popular dog breeds
• Basic understanding of canine behavior
• Love of dogs and cats
