The Teaching Assistant - Temporary Role

Our Teaching Assistant role is a perfect opportunity to give talented individuals practice and experience teaching and working with kids. They will support with school wide systems and routines like arrival, meal times, recess, and dismissal. They will work in collaboration with and under the guidance of experienced Lead Teachers. Teaching Assistants may also act as substitutes throughout the building as needed.

The content and age range of students they work with will depend on the needs of the school.

We seek outstanding people with the following qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older
• Prior experience working with children in a professional capacity, or as a regular volunteer is required
• A passion for working with kids and a belief that all kids can succeed
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and will be compensated higher.

This is an academic year position starting in August 2026. School hours are 8:20-4:00 for staff.

Compensation:
Salary for this role is $40,000. Multilingual candidates are compensated higher.
