New Bedford Public Schools and The Old Bedford Village’s Youth Energy, Conservation and Recreation Corps After School Work Experience Program is seeking two New Bedford High School students to be a part of the Youth Conservation and Recreation Corps Team.
Interns will assist in performing building maintenance, neighborhood clean ups, beautification of selected city areas, and provide support to students and staff attending the Ben Rose Intramural Sport Programs.
- New Bedford High School Student
- Must be 16+
- Must have a workers permit
- Must have good communication, listening, reading, writing, math, science, art, and technical media skills
- Must be able to work with children ages 5 and up
- Preferred certification: CPR, OSHA 10
- Positive attitude, flexible, and a team player
