Insight are partnered with an innovative robotics company developing advanced robotic arm systems for real-world industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing applications.
They are seeking a Simulation Engineer to design, enhance, and scale high-fidelity physics simulation environments that accelerate robotic manipulation research and deployment. The role will focus on improving simulation accuracy, optimizing GPU-based training infrastructure, and building tools that bridge the gap between simulation and real-world robotic arm performance.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the simulation stack that powers next-generation robotic manipulation systems, working alongside leading experts in robotics, AI, and physics-based simulation.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, benchmark, and enhance physics simulation engines such as Mu Jo Co , Newton, and other industry-leading frameworks
- Develop and optimize large-scale GPU-accelerated simulation environments to support high-volume robotics training and validation workloads
- Improve simulation fidelity for complex robotic manipulation tasks, ensuring accurate modeling of contact dynamics and real-world interactions
- Build automated tools and workflows to validate, calibrate, and optimize simulation assets, enabling robust and scalable development processes
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong software development experience with C++ and Pyth
on in performance-critical environments. - Practical experience working with physics engines and robotics simulation platforms.
- Demonstrated success designing, building, and scaling high-performance simulation systems for robotics or related applications
