Land Development Assistant Project Manager

A consulting firm with roughly 20 years behind them and offices across New England, NY/NJ, Florida and the Midwest is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their growing New England office.

This is organic growth alongside a Project Manager hire, not a backfill. The office is young so you'd be joining at a genuinely good time to make your mark.

• Assisting the Project Manager with day to day design and permitting tasks
• Design of site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, landscaping, lighting, soil erosion and sediment control
• Zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, hydraulic/hydrologic design and analysis
• Site plan drafting, environmental impact assessment, project reports

Becoming genuinely more client facing over time, something candidates are often held back from elsewhere

• Roughly 3-6 years of site/civil design and permitting experience
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, EIT acceptable, PE not mandatory at this level
• Ideally someone close to their PE or ready to start taking on more client exposure
• Strong AutoCAD skills;
  Civil 3D, HydroCAD and/or technical writing a plus
• Self motivated, strong communicator, genuine team player
