Director of Finance and Accounting

Compensation: $160,000–$180,000 + Bonus
Location: New Bedford, MA - in-office work schedule

Responsibilities of the Director of Finance and Accounting:

• Oversee the company's accounting and finance functions as well as reporting, business planning and financial controls
• Analyze financial performance and identify cost savings and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
• Establish accounting processes and systems
• Build an internal accounting team as the organization expands

Director of Finance and Accounting Qualifications:

• Hands-on leadership experience in a setting that has transitioned from outsourced to in-house accounting and financial operations
• Preference for candidates coming from an entrepreneurial lending institution
• Ability to independently balance strategy with day-to-day operations
• ERP implementation expertise
