We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I.
$1,500 new hire sign‑on bonus (rehires after 1 year also eligible)*
Hours: 36 hrs
Shift: Day/Evening shift, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm with weekend and holiday rotation
Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

ResponsibilitiesUnder the general supervision of an individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintain patient environment, and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties.
Qualifications- Completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
- Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- Three (3) months of experience in an acute care or long‑term setting is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt with a signed statement certifying exemption upon hire.
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay RangeUSD $19.37 – $26.80 per hour.
Rotation Schedule RequirementEvery other weekend and holiday.
