Registered Nurse in Early Intervention, working 40 hours weekly.
Responsibilities- Use approved instrument to provide developmental screening, assessment, and evaluation for children birth to age three as part of a multidisciplinary team to determine eligibility.
- Actively include family throughout the entire evaluation/assessment process and implementation of the IFSP.
- Work as a team member to gather and organize information from multiple sources to plan an individualized evaluation/assessment and IFSP.
- Coordinate and maintain in partnership with the family consistent communication with EI team, medical and community contacts.
- Identify and access resources that support IFSP outcomes and enhance natural learning opportunities.
- Organize daily schedule to meet caseload requirements and use indirect time appropriately.
- Understand complex medical issues including prematurity, NAS, and make appropriate referrals.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Board of Nurse Registration and Nursing Education / MA Department of Health.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with infants, toddlers and families in an Early Childhood setting.
- Management Experience Within a Multidisciplinary Team Preferred.
- Provisional Early Intervention certification and completion of CEIS portfolio within three years of hire.
- Valid pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
