We are searching for a talented RN for the Med Surg Tele Dept.
Hours: 36 hrs;
Shift: NIGHT, 7:15 pm – 7:15 am;
Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA
The unit: 33‑bed specialty unit for Oncology, Palliative Care and End‑of‑Life patients. 11 semi‑private and 11 private rooms. Chemotherapy competency maintained by RNs on the unit through Oncology Nursing Society certification. Telemetry monitoring for up to 10 patients. Excellent patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment.

ResponsibilitiesUnder direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of the assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Three (3) months experience preferred
- Obtain Chemotherapy Certification within one year of hire
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt by signing a statement certifying exemption for medical or personal reasons
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay RangeUSD $42.37 – $77.81 per hour.
Rotation Schedule RequirementEvery other weekend and holiday.
