Software QA Engineer II, AVP

We are looking for an experienced and talented software quality assurance engineer who can work independently and proactively resolve any issues. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across CRD and State Street located in the US, EMEA and APAC regions.

• Creation of Test Strategy document and getting it reviewed and approved by QA Director.
• Writing detailed functional testcases covering Fixed Income execution workflows in X-Ray and getting them reviewed and approved by the Product Development team.
• Reviewing testcases with cross functional teams for end-to-end integration testing.
• Creating automation tests every sprint along with manual testing.
• Executing automation tests to cover regression testing.
• Executing functional tests, recording evidence for audit and getting results approved by QA Director.
• Leading end-to-end integration testing with QA peers across various CRD and STT applications.
• Demoing the workflows to business owners and requesting release signoff.
• Maintaining integration test environments.
• Becoming a subject matter expert and troubleshooting incoming client issues.
• Developing a thorough understanding of the Charles River IMS product.

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Charles River IMS.
• Familiarity with buy side trading workflows especially fixed income concepts and workflows, electronic trading connectivity and trade order life cycles.
• Experience with ETL tools like Kettle is a plus.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience working with complex integrations across multiple applications.
• Demonstrated experience with QA automation.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Scrum.
• Willingness to learn new concepts.

• Self-starter who can ramp up independently and be able to educate team members on end user workflows.

$80,000 - $140,000 Annual
