- Front‑facing role; not a back‑end position.
- Proficiency with MS tools, including Microsoft and Intune; most issues are related to MS environments.
- Ability to support and execute special projects (e.g., ISP transitions, onboarding new firms, and re‑IP initiatives across offices).
Candidates who have exclusively worked in back‑end roles without any front‑facing customer interaction will not be considered.
Additional DetailsWe are seeking a polished professional who is comfortable providing both Level 1 and Level 2 support, as well as assisting with project‑based work as needed.
The individual must also be available to travel to the Boston office on an as‑needed basis, approximately up to two times per week on average, though this may vary depending on business needs.
Job DescriptionThe Sr. MS Systems Administrator will manage and secure our MS 365 and Azure environments and be responsible for the MS 365 and Zoom—including Telephony—environments.
The role supports the onboarding and integration of multiple acquired firms, including data transfers utilizing a variety of tools such as Bititan, Sharegate, and others. Works closely with Thrive (our MSP) on daily operations and escalations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer MS 365, Entra , Intune, Exchange Online, and related security tools.
- Administer Zoom, including AI, telephony, and SMS.
- Lead vulnerability management, patching, and security configuration.
- Support onboarding and IT integration for acquired firms.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and customer service in a fully online, wealth management environment.
- Partner with Thrive to maintain a professional and productive relationship.
- 5+ years of hands‑on MS 365 / Azure administration experience.
- Deep understanding of Entra , Intune, Exchange Online, and Defender suite.
- Strong security and vulnerability management background.
- Experience supporting financial or regulated environments preferred.
- Presentation, communication, and customer service skills appropriate for wealth management firm.
