TITLE:
Educational Translation & Interpretation Services Specialist
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Educational Access and Pathways, manages translation and interpretation services throughout the district. The district is committed to an inclusive curriculum and community that reflects the diversity of its student population. The role requires dedication to inclusion and an interest in fostering a diverse learning environment.
The Superintendent of Schools reserves the right to waive a position qualification or determine that there is an acceptable alternative to that qualification.
Must be fluent in one of the following languages:
Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Haitian Creole.
Salary Range: $25 – $27 per hour
Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week
Physical Demands: No requirements such as lifting heavy objects or frequent climbing
Overtime Eligible: Yes
Work Year: 12 months
Reports To: Executive Director of Educational Access and Pathways
Position Type: Full-time
