Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Position Overview

POAH Communities is seeking a Janitor for our property Temple Landing
. This is a full-time 30 hour role. The primary responsibility of the janitorial functions will be related to maintaining a clean property, with some light maintenance responsibilities as well.

• Respond to housekeeping and basic repair work orders in a timely manner, resolving all issues and closing work orders within 24 hours of submission.
• Transport equipment, furnishings and appliances to work area.
• Assist with the turning of vacant units within three business days.
• Perform clean-up of work areas.
• Maintain grounds through trash management and landscaping.
• Prepare for/respond to weather phenomena such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, snow, ice, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of maintenance shop.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Strong verbal, written and customer service communications are essential.
• Positive attitude.
• Team player.
• Willingness to learn.
