JOB SUMMARY
The Apparel Trimmer Packer is responsible for trimming excess Pellon and loose threads from apparel and headwear after they are embroidered. This position is also responsible for steaming and folding garments to be placed in bags. This position is also responsible for maintaining quality and production company standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- None
- Trim excess Pellon and threads off apparel and headwear.
- Steam and remove Solvy off apparel and headwear.
- Perform quality inspection to apparel and headwear.
- Fold & bag garments for packing.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow verbal directions.
- Ability to read instructions in English.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Understand quality requirements.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms to handle, push/pull, touch, pinch, or grasp.
- Ability to walk around the facility.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to moderate noise level.
- Close and distance vision.
- Color vision.
- Closed toe footwear is required when entering the Production Floor.
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7am – noon) as required.
