We are partnering with a Company specializing in seals, o-rings, and elastomeric materials who is hiring for a Development Chemist.

  Development Chemist
• Full Time Direct Hire

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Preferred.
• 3 to 5 years elastomer experience; strong compounding ability in elastomers, especially the exotics such as FKM.
• 2 to 3 years direct manufacturing support experience.

• Develop rubber compounds to meet various customer specifications and in-house projects.
• Provide sales support pertaining to quotes and compound recommendations.
• Provide manufacturing support through process improvements and cost reductions efforts.

Challenge:
This position is responsible for supporting Sales and Manufacturing efforts in growing the business through investigating new materials and development/refinement of new/current products and processes.
