CNC Machinist

Job Description

CNC Machinists - Milling/Turning

7+ years experience required

• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings - including an understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Must be skilled with Trak machines
• Must be able to operate a PC and use MS Word
• Proficient with various precision measurement tools
• Understanding of G Code
• Basic programming skills using computer aided software

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
• Operate CNC milling machines and lathes, ensuring precision in machining parts.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions.
• Program CNC machines using GD&T and CAM software, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
