Position: RN Nurse Supervisor Full Time Night Shift

Full Time Night Shift Nurse Supervisor

Vibra Hospital of SE Massachusetts is a 90‑bed Critical Care Hospital located in New Bedford, MA. The hospital provides acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of efficient, high‑quality patient care. The supervisor manages personnel, coordinates nursing service activities for the scheduled shift, and ensures adherence to hospital philosophy, objectives, and policies. The supervisor works with employees and managers to develop systems and procedures, provides training, and supports problem‑solving to achieve objectives.

Required Skills
  • Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
Additional Qualifications / Skills
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; critical care experience preferred.
  • Three (3) years experience in an acute care setting preferred; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • CCRN preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
