Shift: 12×3 Night (United States of America)
Job PurposeIn this highly technical, fast‑paced and challenging nursing position, you will work with multidisciplinary team members to provide patients the best care. You will be at the heart of patient‑centered care, valued for your compassion as you continually strive to improve the patient experience. Clear communication and collaboration are essential, and you will be accountable for your performance while taking initiative in your professional growth.

- Assume responsibility for the nursing components of patient/family education processes.

- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
- Provide a therapeutic environment through safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
- Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and professional growth.
- Utilize the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school. BSN preferred.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Additional certifications as required by the department.
- Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures and nursing care standards.
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
- Ability to work with confidential material.

Standing 20%, Standing/Moving about 60%, Sitting 15%, Climbing 2%, Bending 20%, Kneeling 2%, Crawling 1%, Reaching 30%, Handling 90%, Talking 90%, Driving 0%, Smelling 15%. Hearing: normal noise 100%. Hazardous conditions include respiratory, skin and allergic irritants and exposure to blood and body fluids. Environmental demands: 100% indoor; no outdoor, hot or cold environment.
