Job Description Position Summary

We are looking to hire a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our ____ department. The RN will provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process and responsible for:

• provides direct clinical patient care.
• will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
• is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
• is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Required:

Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.

Preferred:
Academic degree in nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree).

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or working towards same.
• Associates requires (ASN)
• Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse
• Current Basic Life Support Certification issued by American Heart Association

Required:

• Currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
• Based on specialty, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required.
