• 11‑13 week assignment, with option to extend for one additional 13‑week assignment if available
• $70 per hour
• Health insurance and 403(b) retirement plan eligibility

• Hours:
  
  36 hours per week
• Shifts:
  
  11 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. with week‑night, weekend, and holiday on‑call rotation
• Primary assignment: PACU – St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford, MA
• May be asked to float to other Southcoast hospitals:
  Charlton Memorial (Fall River), St. Luke’s (New Bedford) and Tobey (Wareham)

Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or a designated unit leader, perform a variety of duties involving coordination of total nursing care for patients, participation in patient and family teaching, and provision of leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit.

• Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration. Former employees must have been separated for at least nine months to be eligible.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent – required.
• Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required.
• Minimum of one year of PACU nursing experience – required.
• Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
• Ability to efficiently float to other like units for patient assignments – required.
• Working knowledge and experience with PC‑based applications.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or provide a qualifying exemption statement upon hire.

$70.00 per hour.
