A leading precision manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support quality operations within a fast-paced aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.
You'll play a key role in driving production quality, supporting First Article Inspections (FAIR), managing nonconformances, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
What You'll Do- Support production quality activities across manufacturing operations.
- Lead and support First Article Inspections (FAIR) and related documentation.
- Review purchase orders and customer quality requirements.
- Manage nonconformances and provide MRB support to drive timely resolution.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Inspection, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues and maintain production flow.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within aerospace, defense, medical device, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting First Article Inspection (FAIR), MRB activities, and nonconformance management.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience reviewing customer specifications, purchase orders, and quality requirements.
- Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or other regulated quality systems.
