Reporting directly to the Inventory Manager, this role supports both back-of-house inventory operations and Budback responsibilities on the sales floor.

The Inventory Agent directly contributes to the success of the Inventory Team by executing daily tasks with precision, urgency, and accountability. Core Responsibilities:

Inventory Processing, Accuracy & Compliance

Receive, verify, and process all internal and third-party cannabis deliveries in accordance with state regulations and company SOPs

Ensure 100% accurate, real-time tracking of all purchases, deliveries, and invoices across METRC, POS (Dutchie), and internal trackers

Process all deliveries so products are fully entered, labeled, staged, and ready for sale within one (1) business day

Maintain perfect METRC accuracy at all times, including:

  • Accurate data entry and package movements
  • Closing all tags at zero quantity
  • Identifying and correcting negative package quantities within one day

Execute 100% accurate Dutchie POS entries, ensuring all product data is complete and correct, including:

Cost and pricing

Photos and all required compliance details

Ensure all products are properly labeled, tagged, stored, and organized by product type, license type, and SOP requirements

Maintain strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory methodology at all times

Assist with compliant destruction of unusable or expired product, including complete documentation and chain-of-custody procedures

Ensure the sales floor remains fully stocked with “Ready for Sale” product for both Adult-Use and Medical menus throughout every shift

Execute restocking activities to support 100% of menu par expectations being met every shift/day

Monitor sell-through and proactively prioritize restocking of high-volume or at-risk SKUs

Pull, stage, and organize product for in-store, online, and delivery orders as needed

Communicate low inventory alerts, restock needs, and product availability changes promptly to the Inventory Manager and store leadership

Ensure physical inventory on the floor always matches POS, online, and digital menus

Inventory Organization & Control

Maintain clean, secure, and compliant inventory areas including vaults, packaging rooms, and staging zones

Ensure all inventory is properly tagged, categorized, and stored according to SOPs and compliance requirements

Protect the security, quality, and integrity of all cannabis…
