We're partnering with a growing specialty biopharmaceutical company that is continuing to expand its commercial organization following a successful product launch. With additional growth plans underway, this is an exciting opportunity to join a company that offers the agility of a smaller organization while making a meaningful impact on patients.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Director will lead a team of approximately 8–10 sales representatives across the New England region. This individual will be responsible for driving regional performance, coaching and developing the team, executing business plans, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to support commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 field sales representatives.
- Drive regional sales performance and execute strategic business plans.
- Conduct regular field coaching, ride‑alongs, and performance reviews.
- Partner with internal teams including Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Sales Leadership.
- Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Manage regional budgets and business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
- Provide ongoing field insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing sales teams.
- Specialty pharmaceutical, specialty care, or rare disease experience preferred.
- Experience working with specialty pharmacy, patient access, reimbursement, or HUB services strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and business planning skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growing organization.
- Willingness to travel approximately 75–80% throughout the region.
