This role drives sales, builds client relationships, and grows the customer base across the assigned territory (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY). The candidate will run product demos, support customers, spot new business opportunities, and keep customers satisfied to help grow Solomon Colors' product and service lines.
Qualifications- 5-10 years of sales experience in the Concrete Construction industry
- Experience selling to distributors, ready-mix suppliers, and block/paver manufacturers is a plus
- Must live within the territory: NY, CT, RI, NH, VT, MA, ME
- Travels 40-50% of the time, including overnights, to manage and grow the territory
- Strong sales and negotiation skills; track record building and maintaining client relationships
- Working knowledge of the concrete or construction industry, including product promotion and consultation
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, works well remotely and independently
- Comfortable with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and picking up new software
- Able to read market trends and customer needs
- Valid driver's license, willing to travel the territory
- B2B sales background a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs and take part in contractor demos
