This is a contract‑based, part‑time position as an independent Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP). Responsibilities include conducting site assessments and field investigations, providing expertise in compliance with environmental regulations, coordinating remediation activities, preparing reports, and liaising with clients and regulatory agencies. The role requires technical and regulatory oversight of environmental projects, ensuring adherence to legal, safety, and environmental standards. The candidate must have a current LSP credential.
The work location would primarily be remote, with some on‑site work and the ability to work from our Providence, RI office if needed.
- Expertise in site assessments, field investigations, and remediation strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations and compliance requirements, including Licensed Site Professional certification.
- Proficiency in technical writing, preparing detailed reports, and environmental documentation.
- Excellent project management, communication, and client coordination skills.
- Experience with ecological resilience, community health impacts, and the application of scientific principles to environmental problem‑solving is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies for data analysis and environmental assessment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, geology, chemistry, or a related field.
