Painter / Exterior Maintenance Technician About The Job
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter / Exterior Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of outdoor painting and repair tasks. This role involves surface preparation, painting, basic carpentry, and support work on roof flashing projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, using ladders, and handling a range of tools and equipment. This is a temporary position for the summer of 2026.
WhatYou’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Perform exterior painting tasks including scraping, sanding, caulking, and surface preparation
- Apply paint and finishes to various surfaces with attention to quality and detail
- Conduct window glazing and sealing as needed
- Safely use ladders and work at heights in compliance with safety standards
- Assist with roof flashing projects, including measuring, cutting, and installing materials
- Operate hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and screw guns
- Transport, carry, and lift tools, materials, and equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Experience in exterior painting and surface preparation
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic carpentry skills
- Ability to measure, cut, and work with construction materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely use ladders and perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

This job operates in an outdoor environment. This role routinely involves standard carpentry equipment such as ladders, paint brushes, hammers, saws, drills etc.

The starting salary for this position is $15.50 – $19.40 and may increase to $23.85 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
