Horticulture Crew Member

Job Overview

The Crew Member is responsible for maintaining a variety of landscape structures that range from typical grassy areas like lawns or gardens to more granular items such as houseplants.

• Assisting with the installation and care of woody, perennial, and annual plant material
• Performing installation and maintenance tasks such as mulching, planting, grading, etc.
• Ensuring job sites and/or maintenance properties are kept clean and tidy and free of plant debris
• Removing weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants
• Trimming overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area

• At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar job
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers
• Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Position Range: $20–$24 per hour.
