Quality Control - Roof Inspector

The Roof Inspector is responsible for maintaining a presence at the construction site to ensure and confirm the roofing contractor's compliance with contract documents, approved submittals, schedules, and safety procedures. The Roof Observer will complete daily quality and safety reports and other necessary submittals throughout the week.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a presence at the construction site and interact daily with roofing contractors, client representatives, and project managers to coordinate site requirements according to job specifications.
• Take photographs of job-site progress and engage in daily documentation and reporting.
• Ensure the roofing contractor complies with contract documents.
• Complete and submit daily quality and safety reports.
• Inform the project manager of any quality issues and safety violations by the contractor.
• Ensure incomplete work is finished before the final inspection.

Essential

Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft applications.
• Experience as a Coordinator, Roofing Inspector, or in Quality Control.
• 2 years of experience with roofing, either residential or commercial, including demo, inspection, or shingling.
• 1 year of experience using an iPad for work or personal use.

This is a Contract position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
