Under general supervision, the Motion Automation Intelligence – Customer Service Representative II ensures customer expectations are accurately determined and fully met. The role may provide guidance to less experienced Customer Service Representatives or support specific customer(s).
JOB DUTIES- Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk‑in counter sales.
- Influence Motion Industries' gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within established parameters.
- Adjust non‑contract customer pricing to meet customer demands based on competition, maximizing profit.
- Build customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and driving process improvements.
- Order items to maintain appropriate inventory levels for customers.
- Place orders without approval for amounts up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
- Expedite backorders; pull inventory and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
- Source products from branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory.
- Determine the most cost‑effective shipping method for customer orders.
- Handle customer returns.
- Support specific customer(s).
- Assist less experienced Customer Service Representatives with locating items and resolving problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry; may handle more challenging inquiries due to experience and training.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.

- Basic product knowledge.
- Reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
