Renewable Energy & Drives US, LLC (RED-US) is a parts and service provider specializing in power electronic systems, located in New Berlin, WI. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the service, repair, and maintenance of power quality equipment at customer sites.

While this position offers remote work flexibility, we are specifically looking for qualified candidates based in the greater Phoenix, AZ area
. Prior maintenance or technician experience is preferred.

Objectives of the Role
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Understand customer expectations and ensure systems are in place to measure and meet those expectations.
  • Coordinate and execute operational activities for both internal and field service teams, including:
  • Building, diagnosing, and repairing power quality equipment
  • Performing field service visits at customer sites
  • Providing technical support
  • Communicate activity status to both the line manager and clients through regular updates.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities for Renewable Energy & Drives through client and contract development, leveraging support from the broader RE&D team as needed.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls from both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain frequent communication with customers and RE&D staff to ensure work progresses as planned, addressing any deviations promptly.
  • Provide regular updates (at least twice weekly) to the line manager on key issues, risks, and requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of timesheets, work orders, and documentation within the Quality and Safety Management System.
  • Prepare and submit monthly activity reports (with management approval).
  • Maintain all service tools and equipment in safe working order and ensure proper calibration.
  • Ensure all work performed on customer sites is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and submit quotations for repair work conducted by internal and field teams.
  • Prepare and submit sales invoices related to completed activities for line manager approval.
  • Participate in and complete toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statements; submit documentation to internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with detailed service planning and resource allocation in coordination with the line manager or supervisor.
  • Facilitate pre- and post-service meetings for field activities, including shutdowns, and generate detailed reports.
