We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer‑aided drafting (CAD) software and related tools to prepare technical drawings.
Duties include:
utilizing customer software for drafting and data input; supporting and coordinating with Outside Plant (OSP) Designers to transform rough field designs into drafted work prints according to varying customer specifications; collaborating with OSP Designers to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs; reading, evaluating, and interpreting designs and drawings; reviewing work print drawings to ensure adherence to all established specifications and standards;
applying basic telecommunications standards for quality checks while drafting; and using advanced CAD tools to compile data for import/export to supporting applications. The role also involves training less experienced team members.

- Bachelor’s and/or associate degree in a related field with 2–6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, GIS, and AutoCAD.
- Detail‑focused and well‑organized, with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Capable of working as part of a team, yet self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
