Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to solve technical problems, support manufacturing processes, and ensure product performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components, systems, and products

* Create detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software

* Conduct testing, validation, and performance analysis of prototypes and existing systems

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain

* Identify and implement design improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and cost

* Support production by troubleshooting issues and providing technical guidance

* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies

* Participate in project planning, timelines, and documentation

* Review and interpret technical drawings, requirements, and customer specifications

* Assist with vendor selection and evaluation of materials and components

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar)

* Ability to analyze data and perform engineering calculations

* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

* Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
